At Whole Foods Market I work with the E-Commerce team to fufill orders with efficiency and attention to detail. I assist other teams when needed, and help customers find what they're looking for. Throughout the day, I ensure that labels and expiration dates are correct and that shelves remain orderly.
The Winchill are Minnesota's professional ultimate frisbee team. As a game day operations staff member, I help assemble and take down various stadium decorations and booths according to the daily specifications before and after games. During the game, I work in the Kid Zone to ensure that customer needs are met and that everyone enjoys a fun and engaging experience.
In the Gustavus dining hall I serve and assist customers while keeping food displays organized and ensuring that equipment and countertops stay clean. Throughout each shift I restock and prepare food according to the daily menu.
At Dao Tech I worked onsite with a charter school client as an intern in the Information Technology department. Over the course of two summers and the school year, I helped implement a new technology inventory system with Google Workspace and a custom website for data entry. Throughout the process, I registered newly ordered laptops and transitioned the school from a computer cart system to one where each student was designated a Chromebook to use at home.
I learned about troubleshooting techniques and wiring practices while repairing schoolwide Ethernet, phone, and Wi-Fi access. I also solved tickets and worked directly with teachers and students to diagnose, repair, and update various computers, including Chromebooks, Macbooks, and Dell Laptops, with issues including broken screens, dead batteries, and software issues.
Currently, I'm a sophomore computer science major at Gustavus. Computer Science labs are my favorite classes, but I also love to learn about theater, creative writing, business, and my other interests. I'm a member of the E. Terry Skone Investment Club on campus, where we manage part of the college's endowment to create scholarships, and Vice President of the Ultimate Frisbee Club. In the second semester of my freshman year, I was the Assistant Director of our spring play: B, by Guillermo Calderon.
I attended high school at Great River School, where I graduated with an International Baccalaureate Diploma after writing an Extended Essay on the math behind modern RSA cryptography. I was a member of the National Honors Society, acted in student-made theater, and played varsity ultimate frisbee.
